Full-Timing for One Year

Yes, it has been one year since we sold our house and hit the road in our motor home! Amazing. It seems like just yesterday. But look at where we have been in a year!
We hope to fill in some of the upper part of the map in the next year or so, but it's pretty neat to see it all lid out like that.

On Wednesday Bob and I took a drive out to Williston, FL where Bob used to live. We had to search for it a little because it has been 20 years or so since Bob was there last. We went down a long dirt road...
And there it was! Such a pretty property.  Bob bought this 20 acre lot and built a house and garage on it. The house has been replaced but the garage is original.
Later we returned to the campground and went over to the boat launch and picnic area by the lake. It is a lovely spot, but we saw no alligators despite warning signs all around.

I have started a new weaving project on my Seidel card loom, using the double-hole heddle that Jonathan Seidel made for me. It is lots of fun weaving this way.

It's October 1, and that means we are moving to Bradenton for the month! We are looking forward to it, and plan on meeting up with some Living the RV Dream folks. More to follow....

  2. When in Bradenton be sure to take in the Ringling Museum and the Sunday at sundown drum circle on Siesta Key Beach.
