I took a brief hiatus this week from blogging so now I have some catching up to do! To start with, on Tuesday I became a member of The Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks. We know a lot of RVers who are Elks members, as oftentimes the lodges have RV hookups for reasonable rates. The Elks also provide a friendly place to drop into in a strange town where we will find help if needed.
On Friday Bob and I went to a family party to celebrate our niece, Emily's graduation from high school. Emily will be pursuing an art degree from Ithaca College. We are very proud of her.
Saturday was July Fourth, of course, and Kristen, Catherine and Michael, Tim and Bernie, Emily and Anthony, and all the kids were in Pitman for the parade. We nibbled on breakfast as we waited, and enjoyed a nice parade down Main Street.
After a day of hanging out at Tim and Bernie's, we were treated to a fireworks display from their front porch. It was a really nice day.
Indie is getting bigger and his ears are almost completely up. Such a cutie pie.
Tomorrow we are on the move--it's time to take the grandkids camping in Cape May!
