Mini Golf

We were in the perfect place to spend a hot summer day. This morning we packed a picnic lunch and headed out to Ocean City for a rousing game of miniature golf, something that these boys had never done except for playing at the simple one provided by the campground. After eating lunch with a cool ocean breeze and a nice shady table, we introduced Adam and Alex to mini golf. They loved it. This golf course features waterfalls and a pirate ship, with lots of hazards along the way.
As temperatures continued to soar, we headed next to the pool, where we took a refreshing dip. Bob even tried out the slide.
Tomorrow we may go to Wildwood and see what's there. All these years living in NJ and we've never been!

  1. We were just in Ocean City, hard to believe just a little over a week ago. Two of my grandkids were with. We camped on Assateague Island. Good times had by all.

  2. I bet we will sometime. I'm north of Chicago. Our trip started off on June 25th. Headed for Shenandoah Nat'l Park and tent camped there two nights. Then on to Maryland. Was exciting to see the horses there. Then on to Philadelphia for two days. Last day, July 2nd we went to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Parking in Liberty Park was great. Then had promised my granddaughter she could go to Carlos Bakery in Hoboken. She had such a happy smile when we got there. She traded in her knitting needles and spinning wheel for baking. Hoping someday she will enjoy fiber again too.
Great time had by all, but was good to get home.
